Public Relations / Communications Director
This position handles all our “contact” with the community. Design, printing, and distribution of flyers, all media responsibility, including contact with reporters and photographers from the MetroWest Daily News, the Ashland Tab and the Globe Weekly, contact with the Ashland Cable Station, composition and placement of press releases, design and placement of advertisements, design and placement of sandwich board posters. This is a Board level position, and requires attendance at the monthly Board meetings.
Programs Chair/Co-Chairs For Mindess School
This role is school based, and has been created as a liaison role to the Program Operations Director. Each Program Chair will be responsible for overseeing the fundraising programs at their school. This will entail making sure that flyers are distributed, collection of orders/ticket sales, working with the Principal of the school to find methods to “spread the word”/kick off of programs, recruitment within the school/classrooms for volunteers to assist with each program, liaison with the Program Operations Director, the PTO Board and the school Principal to brainstorm and provide new and unique fundraising ideas specific to that school.
KNO:
Gym Coordinators (2)
KNO (Kids’ Night Out – Mindess School) needs these positions filled for the 2007-2008 school year. The Gym Coordinators (2 positions) are responsible for oversight of activities and additional volunteers in the gym. All of these positions may be shared roles if necessary, so there could be two co-coordinators for any given position. There are many volunteers for KNO, but we need a "point person" for each of these important coordinator roles. We have the dates set for next year’s KNO, so you can plan ahead! We really need your help to keep this successful program going.
