Your Fundraising Dollars at Work
The PTO does a lot of fundraising - ever wonder where that money goes? The PTO spends almost $30,000 a year bringing enrichment programs to the schools! The PTO's enrichment chairs work closely with the teachers at each school to bring in programs that fit in with each grade's curriculum and enhance the students' learning. Last year, the programs sponsored by the PTO included:

Recognize Excellence with an Ashland A+
Have you said "thank you" lately? Is there someone who’s made a difference to you or your child recently?
Let’s foster a community of appreciation, starting with a simple thank you to someone who has made a difference.
Think about a teacher, administrator, building staff member, or school volunteer who has had a real impact in our
lives and the lives of our children. Now you can make a difference in their world by honoring their hard work and
dedication. Put a smile on a face and warmth in the heart by the simple act of sending a thank you card recognizing
when someone goes above and beyond.
Click on the link to the right to print out an Ashland A+ card or stop by the front office of any school. Pick up a card,
write your note of gratitude, and either drop it in the box at school or deliver it yourself. That small gesture
will go a long way!

Volunteer Reminder
Please remember that if you plan to volunteer for any school events, PTO-related or not, you will need to complete and turn in a CORI form and two other required informational forms. All volunteers need to complete this process, whether volunteering in the classroom, chaperoning field trips, volunteering at KNO or the MS Socials, etc. |
